Celia is Bud Powell's bebop tune, heard here as it appears on the soundtrack of Chico & Rita, the 2010 animated film by Fernando Trueba and Javier Mariscal set in the golden age of Cuban jazz. It is performed by the Cuban pianist Rolando Luna with Amadito Valdés, the Buena Vista Social Club timbalero.

The reading gives Powell's line a Havana accent, bebop phrasing swinging over Cuban percussion, exactly the New York-Havana conversation the film celebrates.

A free file, transcribed with the hands separated.
